Yin Yoga is a deep practice designed to lengthen, stretch and relax the muscles and mind, by targeting the ligaments, tendons and fascia of the physical body. This style of yoga is practiced at a slow, fluid, nourishing pace, of which includes passive poses that are held from 3-7 minutes, in order to encourage the steady and safe opening of the mind, body and heart as a complete unit. By merging deep breathing with surrender, the practitioner is left with an overall feeling of spaciousness and inner peace.
